Trump’s 2024 Presidential pronouncement is, wait for it,
wait for it, boom! “I am your
retribution!” - Flip the two-headed wooden nickel, and DeSantis’s
proclamation is “We will impose our will!”
DeSantis’s Florida is what happens when hate
is left to flourish.

And wait, Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice has been
dragging their cowboy boots, not wanting to
offend MAGA America, - afraid of insulting the MAGA/KKK wing of
Trump’s neo-confederate cult. Didn’t want to
appear biased.

What a chilling prospect that is!
Either way, if either one becomes President, something
insidious will emerge. Something devilish and
insidious arises!
These dark, dark, dark smoke signals rolled out across
this no-longer seriously considered to be the
United States of America, from trailer parks
in Tennessee to suburbs in Boston and Austin.

America, Trump’s America, to recognize that,
if placed in the Oval Office, he’ll simply
impose the will of his angry White Christian
soldiers upon everyone, and ram it down our
collective “Woke” throats, one way or another.

“Woke” is Redneck-lish for anything people-of-color and enlightened,
empowered White women agree with, believe in,
and stand for. From the minimum wage to banning and burning books, to denying women the innate right to control their own bodies, to allow guns to be sold in 7-11s, to economically punishing Disney for having two Black princesses – Ariel and Tiana. If you don’t agree with their xenophobic agenda and their
efforts to turn back the hands of time – then
you are “Woke” - and you are the angry White
person’s #1 enemy. The roar of hateful
vengeance is loud!

hate of me, and I welcome their hatred.”
Somewhere between “imposing our will” and exacting
“retribution,” stands the mainstream of White
American society – and these two men are
employing these - “Fightin’” words. They are
crafted to be a retro/vintage country &
western musical, think Green Acres or Beverly Hillbillies meets Dallas and Dynasty. These are words of tyrannical power, carefully, but
recklessly chosen and expertly tailored to the
ears of the rank-and-file proud rednecks.
Trump’s base, the pro wrestling and monster
truck crowd, it’s a virtually all White “Right” striving for “minority
rule.” How horrifically scary is that?
“I am your retribution” is Trump’s way of telling half-mad
neo-Confederates that he is the vengeful,
bloody “payback” they seek. Only he will right the wrongs of Dr. King’s and LBJ’s civil rights era
advancements. Because, check it: what most people see as human and civil progress, White men see as cases where they lost societal control,
“gave away” and “conceded” power they never,
ever should have. “Real”? White dudes blame
the weak, meek, spineless snowflake liberals,
the Hippies and Flower Children who were
guilted into sharing the American Dream with those once considered merely, and only “the help.”
Yes, society-wide evolution, achieved through a revolution, those are the advancements, i.e., infringements on WASP-entitled privileges mainstream USA wants to erase.

when he’s sworn in as President. He could be

Trump’s base longs for a “king” who is the very embodiment
of impertinence and brutality: impudent,
blasphemous, discourteous, irreverent,
insubordinate, ill-mannered, brazen, brash,
shameless, pert, defiant, outrageous, and
shocking. A “strongman” who is so
brass-necked, cocky, lippy, mouthy, fresh, and
flip – that it would make any “darkie” quake
in terror….
The tyrannical MAGA forces of bigotry seek to relegate
Black and Brown people to the back of the
aircraft – the cramped seats in the nether
regions near the lavatories - the last 4 rows.
Whatever cruel ideas race through the minds of
Donald Trump’s troops, it’s beyond
imagination, for no insult could measure up to
the medieval-mindedness these self-righteous
zealots want to impose upon the “Left.”
I’m not the trusting type. At birth, I made the doctor
show me his license before he slapped me on
the behind - so, I just cannot trust these
flawed, and conflicted men with audacious
Presidential power.
Either way, the “Right” will mercilessly impose
retribution upon their enemies and whether we
want to admit it or not, we, yes, you and I,
