Alas, the poorly educated. The unshakable foundation of
the Trump Tower of Flim-Flam. A constituency
so lovingly embraced that Donald J. Trump
himself publicly declared his affection for
them in 2016: “We won
with poorly educated. I love the poorly
educated,” he said, flashing that trademark smirk as though
he’d just unearthed a goldmine of gullibility.
Trump: Patron Saint of
the Poorly Educated Hustle
Trump doesn’t just “love” the poorly educated; he adores them with the fiery
passion of a used-car salesman spotting a
mark. He serenades them with words that
sparkle like cubic zirconia in a pawn shop
window - glitzy, hollow, and irresistibly
cheap.
Trump bibles? Excuse me, you must mean the sacred texts of “The Art
of the Steal?” These aren’t mere Bibles; they’re divine
manifestations of Trump’s business acumen,
where scripture meets snake oil. Who idolizes
this clown enough to buy one? Well, start with
the pièce de résistance of this absurd
symphony: the poorly educated. The same crowd
that believes Trump was sent by God,
conveniently overlooking his grab-them-by-the-you-know-what theology. And, the Bibles are made in China. Talk
about adding insult to injury!
Pay and pray my friend, and, absolutely free, ($199.00 shipping n’ handling)
Trump will give you a touch from Jesus, baby
Jesus.
$200 cologne? Let’s discuss that cologne, “Fight, Fight, Fight.” Nothing says MAGA masculinity quite like dousing yourself in eau de desperation.
My only question is: what women are buying
this man’s brand? Are they trying to attract
men who treat women the way Trump does?
Trump cologne - “Smell like a molester….”
Swiss-made watches? Sure. Shipped out of a strip mall in Wyoming and
priced between $499 and $100,000. Experts in
watchmaking say they’re cheaper than the Timex
under glass at your local Walmart. It’s all a
shim-sham hustle. And who buys this junk? Yep,
the poorly educated. Perfect for counting down
the seconds until Trump University issues your
imaginary degree. These products aren’t just
tacky; they’re the embodiment of a man who
once tried to sell steaks out of a Sharper
Image catalog.
The tennis shoes? Trump’s take on footwear - a MAGA twist on Air
Jordans, except they’re probably made in the
same overseas factories he rails against. And
who’s buying this garbage? Trump’s poorly
educated base, of course. They don’t just buy
his merchandise; they buy into his fantasy. A
fantasy where coal jobs are coming back, walls
are solving crises, and the golden-haired
tycoon is somehow “just like them.”
And don’t forget Trump Vodka, a $7,999 bottle of cheap rotgut that practically screams
“intoxicated
by power - or alcohol!”
Exploiting the Poorly
Educated: A Trumpian Tradition
Let’s not overlook the pièce de résistance of his
exploitation: Trump University. A “university” so fraudulent it could make diploma
mills blush. Promising the keys to success, it
handed out overpriced seminars that amounted
to “Google it
and pray.” The lawsuits? Settled, of course, because nothing
screams “I stand
with the people” like a $25 million payout.
How about his pandemic musings? Remember when he floated
injecting disinfectant as a COVID cure? His
base didn’t question it - they Googled “Clorox.” They didn’t just believe; they turned every word
into gospel, even when that gospel came
straight out of a reality-show fever dream.
This madman has the blood of hundreds of
thousands of people on his hands, and he
sleeps like a demonically possessed baby at
night.
And infrastructure week? The event that never was.
Promises of highways paved in MAGA glory
turned out to be as hollow as his steaks. But the poorly educated were thrilled, because he
told them what they wanted to hear - facts be
damned.
Trump
45 pistols…., Obviously right, this is a given if there
ever was. Wait, stop, gold plated, of course.
Trump electric guitars - $10,000. I couldn’t make this ludicrous nonsense up if I
tried. And who buys it? The guitars are $1500,
with his signature, $11,500.
Interestingly, no Trump caskets. He’s missing an opportunity, an untapped, and dig it, endless
revenue stream. How much could he charge?
Well, how much are they willing to pay for an
autographed casket to carry their dearly
departed up to MAGA Heaven?
The Poorly Educated
Running America
The irony, of course, is that the poorly educated don’t
just form Trump’s base - they’re hand
crafting, shaping the nation’s discourse. They
fill school boards and town halls, parroting
his talking points with the enthusiasm of a
child. They cheer for policies that gut their
own healthcare and education while wearing
MAGA hats proudly manufactured in foreign
sweatshops.
Fueled by soundbites and conspiracies, they wield their
votes like blunt instruments, shattering
nuance and logic in favor of cult-like
loyalty. Critical thinking? That’s for “elites” -
a.k.a. anyone who reads above a fourth-grade level.
Trump’s entire shtick is a love letter to the poorly
educated, wrapped in a gold-foil lie and
stamped with his name. He tells them what they
want to hear: that their personal failures are
someone else’s fault, that he alone can fix
it, and that their loyalty will be rewarded
with MAGA-branded salvation. And they believe
it - hook, line, and Trump-branded sinker.
Trump water, why not drink the sweat of a winner. Trump
Vitamins. But understand, he doesn’t stop at
selling junk, either. Trump’s most lucrative
scam is convincing the poorly educated that
they’re not just victims of some imaginary
cabal but warriors in a holy crusade against
the elites. Never mind that Trump is the elite
- a man who wouldn’t let his supporters into
Mar-a-Lago without a membership fee. He’s
built an empire on exploiting their fears,
their hopes, and their wallets - while
laughing all the way to the bank.
The Bigger Picture
Don’t get it twisted - rich, highly educated folks also
back Trump. They likely don’t buy his cheap
garbage, but they support him financially and
politically because he’s making them richer
through deregulation and tax cuts. They share
his sexist, racist, and elitist worldview.
So here we are, a nation partially steered by the proudly
uninformed, captained by a man who manipulates
them like puppets. He swindles them with a
wink and a grin. Trump loves the poorly
educated because they’re his most reliable
customers - and America is the showroom for
his never-ending con.
I’ve labored in the salt mines of public education for
over 25 years, I can say with complete
confidence: the system has knowingly and
deliberately been mass-producing
under-educated and mildly educated students.
Trump exploits that general ignorance, he
exploits it for personal profit. He’s turned
that failure, that lack of both knowledge and
intellectual curiosity into a weapon - a
weapon of mass-destruction, aimed at
democracy, diversity, inclusion, equality and
unity itself.
