Throughout
recorded history, empires have resorted to utilizing surrogates
of one kind or another to do their bidding. The 21st century U.S.
Empire is no different in this regard.
Barack
Obama is presently the surrogate emperor of and to the U.S. Empire,
and his task is to neutralize and destroy, as much as possible,
any and all critical thought and serious political consciousness
on the part of Black, White, Brown, Red, and Yellow peoples in this
nation. As the Wall Street barons and banksters of the U.S.
corporate / military apparatus shrewdly and correctly observed,
prior to overwhelmingly supporting then candidate
Barack Obama for the U.S. Presidency, the masses of people were
yearning for change. What better way to maintain the
existing order of the empire than to give them fake change
in the person of Barack Obama?! What better way to continue the
stranglehold by the corporate vampires around the necks of the people
than to give the appearance of loosening their hold only
to get an even tighter grip in the person of Barack
Obama?!
In
just under six months, with the ascendancy of Barack Obama to the
U.S. Presidency, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have been widened even as Obama
seeks approximately 100 billion more dollars for these reprehensible,
despicable and ultimately unwinnable wars. Nevertheless, at this
time when a genuine, focused, and strong peace movement in
this nation is needed more than ever, it has become a pathetic whimpering
shadow of itself at this point under the Obama presidency.
Instead
of being much needed critical thinkers and active
citizens in this so-called U.S. democracy under the Obama
presidency, far too many have degenerated into being unthinking
fans of this double-speaking, pro-apartheid Zionist, war-mongering,
Wall Street-supported Barack Obama. Meanwhile, precious time is
slipping away nationally and globally.
As
Mr. Double-speak, U.S. President Barack Obama reverses
and reneges on campaign promise after campaign
promise, while the ever-subservient and compliant corporate media
attempts to cover for him by referring to those promises to the
people as mere “campaign rhetoric” from the past, it is time
for critical thinkers to organize and remind one another that Obama
is more of the same - only worse.
Obama,
in fact, does not support universal single-payer health care.
Obama is, in fact, spreading and expanding the bloody U.S.
wars in Iraq
and Afghanistan. Obama is anything
but transparent on the subject of torture. Obama is not
in support of prosecuting the war criminals of his predecessor’s
regime and is busily proceeding down the very same disgusting
path. Despite his double-speak rhetoric, Obama is a smooth-talking
systemic clone endowed with a slightly darker pigmentation and a
better acting ability than his predecessor. The
times today are very, very dangerous and it is incumbent upon us
all to fight against slipping into lethargy and persist in
critical thinking and uncompromising, principled activism.
We
must utterly refuse to be neutralized by the “worm tongue” rhetoric
of Barack Obama and his administration. It’s time for people in
this nation Black, Brown, White, Red, and Yellow to wake up and
get busy! We must not let the dream be “deferred” yet again.
Make it more than a “dream.” Struggle to regain our consciousness
and make it a reality.
Onward
my brothers and sisters! Onward…
