The
recent and despicable bail out of Wall Street (which was nothing
more than a sell out of everyday people in this nation) by
the so-called Democratic and Republican Parties, once again demonstrated
to the peoples of this nation and world that they are but one
political party. They are the amoral and scandalous Republicrats.
Indeed, they are the systemic gate keepers of the U.S. Empire and
are in opposition to the best economic, social, and political interests
of the people of this nation and world.
The
late and eminent poet, writer, and activist, Audre Lorde (also known
as Gamba Adisa), correctly stated that, “The master’s tools will
never dismantle the master’s house.” The Democratic and Republican
Parties are in fact tools of the avaricious, blood sucking corporate
masters who are bent on containing, manipulating, and emaciating
Black, Brown, Red, Yellow, and White peoples of this nation and
planet. The pressing question is: Will we continue to allow ourselves
to be the fools of the tools? We must not.
The
Republicrats are astute at playing peoples off one against the other
in order to maintain their stranglehold of economic, social, and
political control & domination. While so-called people of color
are systemically and systematically pitted against the other and
against economically disenfranchised Whites; the filthy rich “masters”
of the U.S. Empire, and their subservient stooges, engage in perpetuating
the never-ending cycle of utilizing fear tactics, subterfuge, disinformation,
and outright brute force to stomp on the poor and disenfranchised
at home and abroad.
Divide and conquer continues to be the order of the day, adroitly used
by the masters of the U.S. Empire. Their economic policies
bring in the poor from nations south of the U.S. border, and from Africa
and elsewhere; while conniving to pit them off against the poor
and disenfranchised already right here in this
nation. All along of course, it is the very economic and political
policies of hegemony by the Democratic and Republican Parties [i.e.
the Republicrats] of the U.S. Empire that are, in fact, keeping
the majority of people poor and socially oppressed in other nations,
while simultaneously emaciating the dwindling middle class and the
poor inside the U.S. It is a deliberately maintained vicious cycle
of divide, conquer, and control that only we the people
can and must quickly come to comprehend, resolutely break, and permanently
dismantle.
The
Democratic and Republican Parties [i.e. the Republicrats] are part
of a continuing fraud against the people of this nation and
world. Moreover, what the corporate and much of the so-called “progressive”
media refers to as a “choice” to be made by the people is in fact
no choice at all. It is a consistently perpetuated
myth, as is so accurately summed up by the words of the philosopher
Albert Camus when he said, “What better way to enslave a man than
to give him the vote and tell him he’s free.” The peoples
of the United States
have not in reality, chosen their U.S. Presidential candidates - the corporate/military/prison
apparatus has. Overwhelmingly, the people of
the United States said no to the bail-out of Wall Street’s
corporate blood suckers, but the people were yet again simply ignored
while the corporate media, in cahoots with the Democratic and Republican
Party [Republicrats], took care of their own, which did not
and does not include the everyday men, women, and children
of this nation.
There
are those who say that the bailout did not and will not work; but
alas it has already worked. It has worked for the bloated, blood
sucking corporate elite, though certainly not for the
everyday people. But then it was never really intended to work for
everyday men, women, and children. That
is not what Wall Street has ever been about - i.e. everyday people.
This is precisely why the candidacy of Barack Obama is so strongly
financially supported by Wall Street, while the corporate
candidacy of John McCain is also backed by the corporate
blood suckers of “America.”
The people of this nation are viewed and treated as nothing more
than Wall Street’s corporate cannon fodder, and the empty rhetoric
of Barack Obama and John McCain is but more continuing insults to
the legitimate human needs of the majority of people in this nation
and on this planet.
Enough
is enough! We must have universal health care, full employment,
decent & affordable housing, education, and a truly just &
equal judicial system, etc. In essence, we must have real systemic
change that addresses the human needs and aspirations
of the people, not the perpetual greed, disinformation, and
subterfuge of the corporate elite!
For
a fact, the U.S. Presidential Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente
ticket is precisely about building an ongoing, unflinching movement
dedicated to bringing about systemic change for the people,
not the greedy corporate elite. The McKinney/Clemente ticket is
not supported by Wall Street or its corporate elite; and
it is despised by the corporate media and the Democratic / Republican
Party Republicrats. This is a movement currently embodied by Cynthia
McKinney and Rosa Clemente and it will continue to grow stronger
now and in the future, well past the upcoming sham elections
of the year 2008.
Step
outside the Republicrat box. We must cease to be the fools of the
Democratic / Republican Party Republicrats. We must grab hold of
our own destinies.
To
reiterate: Enough is simply enough. It
is past time to build viable second, third, fourth, and fifth
political parties in this nation. The scandalous Republicrats [i.e.
the Democratic and Republican Parties], along with all their self-serving
rhetoric, must be dispatched to the dust bin of history by
everyday people, once and for all. Enough is truly enough.
Onward
then brothers and sisters! Onward to create a genuine peoples movement
which is about nurturing the new person, and is based on human
needs, not corporate greed. Onward…
