I’m
sorry, but I’m not the least bit shocked, amazed nor
blind-sided by Britain’s Royal family and their deep, twisted
racism, fears and phobias surrounding skin-color, class and power.
Such a medieval attitude and gothic perspectives are confirming, not
surprising.
Meghan
Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah has proven to be
a bombshell millions of Americans tuned in to watch. The Duchess of
Sussex discussed her time as a member of the British monarchy. Markle
revealed she considered taking her own life because her mental health
took such a battering during her time in the UK, while she also said
her husband was questioned about her son’s skin color.
I’d
go a step urther and suggest the Royal family’s attitude is
reflective of a culturally wide mentality which is long-standing and
deep-rooted in the European perspective of humanity – from the
rank ‘n file here in the States to “royalty” in the
motherland. Apparently, obviously very little legitimate progress has
been made when it comes to their belief in White Supremacy.
Progress…

Much
of Europe seems to be exhibiting the same lack of growth, maturity,
alas “progress:” there is a well-documented backlash
occurring all across the continent. It seems the imperialistic
colonization of the world comes with a price. There is a fallout, an
aftermath – repercussions and consequences for pimping and
exploiting the world’s population. Spanish, British, Germans
wanted the riches, the free forced labor force and the resources they
secured – but they don’t want Africans as neighbors,
coworkers, their children’s classmates, nor God forbid, as
in-laws.
Wow,
golly gee, the Royal family isn’t much different than their
brothers and sisters across the Atlantic – they have a shared
sense of racial supremacy. Europeans around the world, spread to the
four-corners of the globe, South Africa, Australia, Canada –
all the outposts seem to harbor people which form a significant,
growing, hostile segment of their population that simply refuse to
see people of color as people, as human, as human as they are.
Putin’s
Russia never even pretended to be a Caucasian people who embraced
racial/cultural diversity and inclusion – instead they seem to
be feeding a global rise in advocating and defending White supremacy.
They are openly homophobic, racist and elitist. And might I add,
within Trump’s America, Russia is the preferred friend and
global ally as opposed to the United Nations.
They’d
jubilantly take Vladdy Putin over Kamala Harris as the next President
of the United States – the hate is that great. Trump’s
America is 90% WASP, the sons and daughters of liberty, justice and
freedom; nevertheless, they reject “Equality” and embrace
White supremacy and domination via white nationalism.
I’ve
attempted to make this point more than a few times in my writings
over the last couple of decades – White culture, white people’s
ways, thoughts, attitudes and viewpoints are in dire, desperate need
of a long, long, l-o-n-g
needed awakening, a reformation, a coming-to-Jesus moment, an
epiphany, an enlightenment... which is only possible via an exorcism
of the primitive ideals and beliefs they seem to embrace as a people.
Martin
Luther King, Jr, stated in his From
Strength to Love,
“The
means by which we live have outdistanced the ends for which we live.
Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided
missiles and misguided men.”
How very prophetic his words would be in a literal sense half a
century later.

This
global pandemic has shone a spotlight on the harsh bitter truth,
throughout the White world you will find the descendants of the
conquered
and long
enslaved,
and wherever you find them they are discriminated against and feel
everything from marginalized to criminalize, to dehumanized by the
people, their institutions and organizations.
Please
note: I’m not lying or exaggerating – this is the cold,
hard fact – they wanted your gold, oil and diamonds – but
they don’t want you as a voting member of their society. As a
Black man, I didn’t make the story about race or skin color;
White folks have made it the determining element of one’s
innate value and worth.
I
strolled over to FOX
News
as this story broke all day Monday and all I can say is “wow.”
This is how the interview was summarized:
“viewers were surely dismayed by the sheer vitriol on display,
the huge lack of respect for Queen Elizabeth II as the head of the
royal family, and the appalling vindictiveness of Meghan’s
approach. If this was meant to be a public relations coup for the
Duchess, it backfired spectacularly. The interview was a petty
exercise in mean-spiritedness and spite, without an ounce of grace or
humility from the former actress. It was also poorly timed, with
Harry’s grandfather, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh
recovering from surgery in the hospital at the age of 99 (he turns
100 in June).”
And
the comments board really, really sounded like a never-ending
conversation in the parking lot of a 1963 White Citizens Council
meeting in Tupelo Mississippi. Seriously. I can only thank Donald J
Trump for bringing words and life to this deeply rooted blind racism
which grips White America. The contempt, the animosity, and hostility
are, check it – not amazing nor shocking but rather confirming
and validating. White America, White culture, white people’s
ways, thoughts, attitudes, and viewpoints are in dire, desperate need
of a 2:30 in the AM wake your you
know what’s-up
phone call, an exorcism of the primitive ideals and beliefs they seem
to embrace as
a people.
