Artist Statement: "Peace Be Still", a clay sculpture, represents the quietness and peace that I felt as I brought her to life. Her broad shoulders carry the weight of joy and sadness. Though, her head is bowed, she is not broken. She is strong, adventurous, caring and filled with the wisdom to seek peace in stillness.
