Kanya West was only partially correct - Not only does President Bush not like Black folks, officially add to that list of haters - the top 4 of the 10 GOPers seeking the Oval Office.

Fred Thompson, former Big Apple Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former governor Mitt Romney, and Sen. John McCain, each cited scheduling issues as the reason for their absence.

I'm not basing that on their words, I'm determining this because of their deeds and their actions. In snubbing the minority debate, they've hammered home the point: the Black citizen is irrelevant to the GOP political hopes and aspirations. We simply do not matter.

From this point on, I don't want to hear another damn thing about how this is a "new," "different" and "compassionate" Republican Party, because clearly it's not; it's the same old Klansmen, dressed up in a suit and tie, with an East coast accent and an Ivy league education. It don't mean jack.

My late Uncle Herman, a ground crew-chief for Tuskegee Airman in WWII, the big one baby, often told me "if it walks like a cracker, talks like a good ole' boy and smells like an ole' fashion bigot, then by God nephew, it's a Redneck...

With that thought in mind, this premeditated, calculated slighting of the Black electorate is a back-handed slap in the face of Black America.

I'm burning my incense praying to Buddha, God, Allah, Jehovah and the God father - James Brown, begging this slighting of a entire people sends a hard hitting message to Black folk, hopefully serving as a early morning wake-your-ass-up-call to a those of us who weren't exactly clear about how the Republican Party establishment views Afro Americans: They don't like us.

I'm aware this is an inconvenient truth, but nevertheless, it's the ice-cold Vulcan truth. Obviously, we don't matter.

On top of it all, it's acceptable to spit in our eye...

The average white guy/voter/GOP contributor doesn't like Black folks. The everyday Fred and Barney have a litmus test; Barry Bonds, Mike Vick, OJ. They admonish and attack any one who attempts to honestly rationalize and analyze these men and their predicaments. I can't imagine, after this flipping of the middle finger to black people in general, there being any opposition to the GOP being granted official status of Angry White Male Party.

These top 4 candidates calculated this was not an opportunity. Indeed, it was not worth their time and effort to sit for an hour on what they believed would be the hotseat and let a bunch of angry Black folks ridicule them. They would loose little, if nothing, by not showing up.

And let's not ignore the fact that these 4 represent the vast majority of the Right. Of the 6 who showed up, their campaign offices are so quiet in the middle of the day, you can hear a rat piss on cotton. Any overture to the room full of darkies would be viewed by the core constituents of the Republican Party - the Archie Bunker rank and file - as "nigger" loving, ass kissin' traitors.

The 6 Elephants who strode into hostile territory at Morgan State, who had, if nothing else, either the brains or testicles to show up, will pay the political price. The majority of the Republican constituency was happy to ignore the "niggers" debate; they silently, but surely approved of this unspoken boycott.

But let's step-out of the kitchen, where emotions run hot, and sit down at the Big folks table - Rudy and the rest have no game plan to entice and lure Black or Latino folks into their camp because we are the enemy. We are the opposition who they are containing, constricting, incarcerating, mis-educating, pimping and exploiting. They've nothing good to say to Black and Brown folk. End of story - almost.

The big 4 who failed to show are the exclusive mouthpieces for the Thurston Howell III (Gilligan's Island) "aristocratic" (small "a") ruling wing of the GOP, who have no respect for those of us who hold FDR's New Deal, LBJ's Great Society and King's Civil rights gains as the foundation formed from our parents' hard fight for "New America."

These are the Fatcats who aren't happy merely turning back the hands of time, they want to rip the damn clock off the wall and resurrect Ronald "666" Ray-Gun.

So, if there was ever any doubt about how "The Right" really feels about us, that doubt should be laid to rest, right here, and right now.
