As the effort continues to garner enough financial support to keep BC going strong, many readers have written to us asking how they can help out. We have six suggestions:
We’re serious about needing your financial support. We accept very few ads, and never with any editorial strings. You won’t see pop-up ads blocking your view of BC. You won’t be annoyed by junk email filling up your Inbox from ads that place spyware on your computer. We are committed to keeping BC “Junk-Ad” free, but that means our financial support must come from our readers. Ask yourself this: Is it worth a little over a $1 an issue to read and rely on BC? We are unique among websites, giving you commentary, analysis and investigations on issues affecting African Americans. We are the only political site of which we are aware that offers art, both in recognition of Black artists, and the importance of art to our culture. We are unwavering in our pursuit of social and economic justice, and speaking truth to power. As you read this issue, make the decision to become a BC Paid Subscriber and a BC Contributor. And please remember, if money is really tight for you, you can request a Complimentary BC Paid Subscription to get all the benefits of a BC Paid Subscription for free. If you have any questions regarding BC Paid Subscriptions, BC Contributions, logging on or navigating around the website, email Nancy Littlefield at [email protected]. BC Co-Publisher and Chief Technical Officer Peter Gamble may be contacted at [email protected]. |
