"Mambo!" was inspired by the documentary that the artist saw on the Birth of Jazz. In the documentary, they showed actual footage of people dancing to swing music, and jazz music. They were having so much fun! The artist wanted to show that complete abandonment to the music, where the feet are flying and the heart is in the feet and the music, where nothing else matters in the world except dance.
