We could not let the publication of our 100th issue pass without notice. We are giving ourselves a small pat on the back for the effort it has taken to get this far.

We would also like to take this occasion to thank all those writers whose diligence and thought contributed significantly to .

We are most grateful to our readers because they have provided the positive energy we require to continue our mission to fight for economic and social justice.

We are also thankful to the readers who have let us know that the ideas we have presented have influenced them and others and provoked them to think.

We will continue to behave as genuine journalists and sincere activists and seek out an audience that can change the world for the better.

As we face the dangers and promise of the days ahead, debate among Black Americans and people of good will becomes ever more crucial.

The Black Commentator will continue to nurture such a dialogue, expose charlatans and identify allies. We invite your participation.
