Just as King Trump’s sinister mission is to “take back America and make it white again . . .” the NFL owners would like to “take-back” the NFL and make it white again . . . the National Football League is the premier cultural battlefield in this undeniably divided states of America, and both the owners and the White fan base got the Super Bowl matchup they deeply yearned-for - a aging “Great White Hope” Field General pitted against a young “Great White Hope Signal Caller.”

Obviously Donald Trump believes “life ain’t nothin’ but grabbing . . . and makin’ money.” However I believe, because he grew-up in a “Klansmen house” - note his momma n’ daddy were running-around in white sheets - his unbridled greed has a philosophical base, at least as “philosophical” as a meatheaded-pimp might formulate - which screams “racist, sexist, disconnected from reality rich boy.” A rich boy, in the identical vein as most of the NFL owners who also apparently support and share Trump’s mission to return this nation to yesteryear.

Lord Donald is unofficially the official Grand Pooh-Bah of the evil-ass angry white male empire - he speaks-for and sympathises-with the most racist elements within mainstream rank m’ file everyday white America - their monolithic goal - to “take back,” dig this - ”their” America, and to make it “white” again, back-to when everything was “peachy king” for white men. America is a nation-caught up in a rapidly heating-up cold civil war, one which has most white folks on one side . . . and everybody but the “sellouts” on the other side. On both these ideological sides you’ve got sportsfans, and Trump’s jock supporters want to “take-back” their NFL and make it white . . . as it profoundly and purposefully was in say 1938 - when no Blacks were permitted to play. Or perhaps return the game to it’s 1965 demographics when each team had a single token, negro. ok maybe two or four - we had to be in “pairs” for rooming arrangements on the road.

That segregated USA is what Trump’s America yearns for. “Re-gentrification” is merely 21st century wording for . . “re-segregation.” Ponder the thought . . . ..

Time-out! sideline point: I’d argue, to the cows come home that those decades of exclusion and discrimination, in which blacks weren’t permitted to participate those stars and their records ought have big-ass asterisks attached to them because the best athletes were deliberately and strategically banned from playing - Slingin’ SammY Baugh, Johnny U, the Galloping Ghost . . . who is to say these men would have chalked-up these records if Black gladiators were allowed to strap-on a helmet and lace up some cleats . . . you know. Bart Starr or Larry Csonka might not have made the team.

Time-in! Trump is only expressing a widely-held “gut-feeling” held and shared by, yes, let’s be blunt here - most white men and about half of all white women, and the NFL roundtable of fat-cat owners know that disdain, contempt and dislike of Black folks by white folks is an unquestionable fact of US life. White folks like their Black mandingo warriors to be docile, obidennant and non-opinionated. Kaepernick was just the opposite - ”uppity.”

The owners grasp the simplicity of the moment: if they “hire” Kaepernick the Redneck fan base will snap, pop and crackle.

Trump has crumbled, “caved” on the “shut down,” lost credibility with the good ol boys n’ gals - real white folk. If any franchise “caves” and signs Kaepernick it will open a can of neo-confederates - tickets/merchandising will take a hit. And that will be just the beginning.

The Kaepernick blackballing is simple, yet complex: he’s a Quarterback. You have to understand that within the male soap-opera that the NFL is. Manning the “Field General” position was not a possibility for Afro-American men for decades because we were, as Trump backers still do behind closed doors believe - far too dumb, lazy, and lacking of character, backbone, grit - name the positive attribute . . and we were “equipped” with enough of the ”Right stuff” to be a “Signal Caller” on the gridiron. A black QB couldn’t grasp complex offenses and they couldn’t breakdown and dissect complicated NFL defenses - we could just run fast.

Ain’t that a bitch?!

And please note, if we did play the “Signal Caller” position, the “real” fear was we’d redefine the QB position, inject passion, atletism, creativity, a calm n’ coolness which is the ebony gladiator - see Russell Wilson, see Pat Mahomes, see Cam , see Deshawn Watrson. White guys knew Wwe’d “Ali” the QB position, transform it to a point where, honestly most White guys couldn’t play the position. Think the Running Back, Receiver and Defensive Back positions -. and with that domination of a high & mighty alpha-male slot like NFL Quarterback comes perks: like fame, fortune and . . . blond-haired, blue eyed shapely cheerleaders, models, teachers, nurses, stewardess drawn to this “alpha-male position.

Quarterbacks are that rare combo of “brains and brawn” - in a barbaric sport where you seperate the men from the the dudes who can’t take it.

So see, as we know, a nation’s pastimes reflect the greater overall society, and vice-versa.

The fifty-third Super Bowl is unfolding in a climate which is heating-up - Upon singing the National Anthem, the iconic Gladys Knight is on that Midnight Train to damnation and scorn because she's being used by the NFL owners - a useful idiot - who’s aiding and abetting those who oppose Black Power.

I love her work, nonetheless she’s allowing herself to be pimped and exploited by a multi-billion dollar operation which believes Black folks should be “seen, but not heard.” It’s insulting, but then again the NFL has been insulting Blacks for a while now, we exchange our manhood for cold cash. Super Bowl weekend would be the time to “threaten/promise a labor strike, a player boycott if Kaepernick isn’t signed to a team by opening day of the 2019-20 season.

Seize the opportunity and time while you can. Exercise “Black Power!”
