This pointiant observation is one I’ve heard highly acclaimed comedian DL hughley employe a few times, and I’ve come to the rock-solid conclusion it’s accurate, precise and prophetic in it’s burning-bush truth. For within their minds there’s not a gutter-low expectation we can’t be held-to: murderer, rapist, con-man, theft or arson, no-matter who or what we as black folks fit the job description to a “T.”

Yes, it is “with-in” a white person’s mind that the determination is made that the black person they’re dealing with . . . at that moment . . . in’t quite as “human” as they are, a tad-bit inferior and sub-par. We’re not capable of loving our spouses as white folks love theirs,

We can’t possibly love our children as much, in such a deep and complex manner as white folks do theirs. We don’t grasp the complexities of family, friendship, hard work and honesty.

“Sub-human” is the term I’m searching for I believe.

In the the minds of most white folks, most Black folks are guilty, guilty . . . GUILTY I say of any character flaw, shortcoming or crime . . . until proven otherwise! In addition, we’re uneducated, ignorant and incompetent . . . until proven otherwise. We have little if any character . . . until we demonstrate otherwise. While on the other hand, the white hand, white folks are deemed, painted with a broad brush as innocent, competent, good and decent . . . until proven otherwise. Just the opposite. Two sets of rules for society.

Tragically far too-many black and white folks inherently, innately, intrinsically, if not naturally accept, abide-by and blindly adhere-to these perceptions and beliefs which live in white folks minds, the only place that really matters in America.

How can a racially/culturally divided society like this the no longer logically referred to as “United” States of America mandate morality and humanhood? How do we force White people to live, work and party with ‘other people?” Play nicely with the other kids on the global playground.

How do we get white men to confess that they don't believe “all people are created equal?” For that’s the #1 social disease facing America. That’s the problem with Trump’s foreign policy; instead of seeing it as Thomas Paine and myself do, that “all the world is my country, all mankind are my brothers and to do good is my religion. “ Trump’s America, in their minds, see the world as theirs to pimp, exploit, loot and pillage.

I’m sorry but WASP culture has raped Mother Nature, assaulted King Neptune, sodomized Lady Liberty and ran Yogi the Bear off his own land. Trump would strip-mine Jellystone to make a buck.

How do we “make” white folks “like and respect” people of other faiths, colors and beliefs?

As the surveys have show for decades - most white folks will hire, and thus feel more comfortable with the uneducated white convict than with the Black PhD who was an Eagle Scout.. . . I ask you “What do you do with that?” That’s the identical mentality which facilitated, lynchings, segregated cemeteries and campgrounds.

Please, allow me to be both sharp n’ blunt: It’s a “given” that in the minds for most white Americans is a struggle with the simple notion that Black people, and other people of color, are “as human” as white folks. They struggle with acknowledging our obvious humanity. But wait, if they can accept we’re human, then the acquisition rolls on to “Black people, and most brown people, are “uncivilized.”

I have come to believe WEB DuBois, Josephine Baker and Paul Robeson were spot on to get the hell out of Dodge.

Here’s “why ”- White America, as a whole, not all, but more than say 75% . . . don’t have a conscience. The caged babies on the Rio Grande, the Puerto Ricans abandoned and left to die . . the black folks left to die in Katrina . . . I’m not surprised at all they lett Puerto Ricans to perish also. . . . because in the minds of most white folks Brown folks don’t have the same human worth and value.

White Americans, when they see the raw video footage of the LAPD beating Rodney King damn near to death . . . they see, in their minds a giant unarmed black man meanencing, threatening well-armed police, and that mentatility, that mental picture in their minds serves to rationalize, minimize and ultimately, pathetically justify virtually every police beating this nation’s witnesses on a weekly basis.

Because in white folks minds black people are more animalistic, less refined, less civilized, and therefore more prone to “eat them” at the drop of a dime.

With black folks being so vile and dangerous . . . in the minds of white folks it explains why white folks handcuff black 3rd graders and shoot elderly ladies.

Let’s end this on a real-tip: in the minds of most white Americans, “the only good nigger is a dead nigger,” and let’s keep in mind the folks who feel that way, well they just happen to hale from all walks of life; doctors, teachers, cops and bankers . . .
