I’ve been pounding-out my humble thoughts - a starving wordsmith, for a few different progressive and serious websites since 2006, I feel like a caramel version of Paul Revere . . . “The Rednecks are coming, the Rednecks are coming . . . the Rednecks are coming!”
Well as even Ray Charles, Helen Keller and Stevie Wonder can see - the Rednecks are “here.”

A quasi/semi Grand Pooh-bah Klansman resides in the White House, with the backing of the US House, the Senate, the armed forces’ generals and local police chiefs, and 85% of the Republican (White People’s) Party. Clearly the “Confederacy” lives! No, it’s not merely a 19th century geographical location, but rather in the 21st century still a deeply embedded primitive mentality. I’ve not, in all my adult years felt the vibes I’m getting from white folks. They’ve never, as the monolithic group they so-deeply desire to remain, seemed so angry, so very pissed-off, agitated and good lord embolden. Be they aggressive or passive aggressive acts we see everyday in the news, where White folks just go off on Americans of color, specifically and particularly on Black folks - or the vindictive political legislation Trump’s pushing - you can feel and taste the ambivalence, the indifference and distinct feeling of not being respected or welcome in the country.

Under these dire circumstances, I, once again cannot and will not bring myself to pen a piece about rudimentary issues: education, the economy, public health nor the environment - for as I’ve contended over the last few years - it’d be akin-to rearranging the deck chairs on the RMS Titanic . . . futile, in vain and to no avail - hear me now - most white folks don’t give a damn about the plight of Black America, either individually or as a obviously historically oppressed sub-group. Additionally - most Euro-Americans don't want to live, go to school, church or the mall with non-white folks. A black boss/neighbor or in-law is a death sentence in the eyes of Trump’s America.

I suggest Black America step-out of the backroom of negro denial, where we’ve been since an incognito intercontinental mulatto, Obama, was, yes, prematurely elected President and we deprived black folks thought we could watch the chickens come home to roost. I asserted from day-one the birth certificate bs/the white resistance, the TEA Party would fight him tooth n’ nail, and they did. I too knew, and I’ve got the columns to prove it, that Donald Trump was in it to win it, one way or another and culminate the white backlash which Ray-Gun launched in 1980.

As I pound-out my thoughts the black robed Supremes' have just rolled-back the clock and ruled in favor of homophobic and often times religious fruitcake nutcase fanatics who desire to put Gay folks back in the closet, attic or root cellar. Today no cakes for Gay folks, tomorrow no hotel room for a black family on the road at night in a snowstorm - “We don’t serve your kind!”

Black America, hear me now . . . we need a plan, I know, as a man if I don’t have a plan, well, I ain’t no kinda man, especially if I’m accountable for others: women, children, old folks.

My midnight hour plea to all the blacker than thou, highfalutin, multi-titled Reverend/doctors/councilman/boss-lady HNIC’s across the land - Black America needs a plan to combat the white rage which is looming on the horizon.

In times like these, with the tone, feel, flavor and taste of America being what it is - polarized and tribal, I’d suggest city/county/state/regional and alas a national “Summit” for Black America, a “Black American Self-Defense Summit,” where representatives from a vast array of life, a vast array of individuals, institutions and organizations “Afro-American pow-wow” i.e., analyze the serious, serious … serious situation at-hand and create a plan of “self-defense,” because when this firecracker pops - .ain't nobody, no country, no one coming to our rescue.

Black America is on it’s on.

It’ll simply be ”OPEN SEASON” on all folks of color, liberals, known white Liberals and Progressives, anyone thought to be a Nigger/Jew/Chink or Spic lover.”

Picture an everyday racial blow-up, in a cafe, a school, a swimming pool, perhaps a police encounter gone wrong, an NFL game where Black players don’t come on the field for the national anthem, and scores of black, Latino, Asians and liberal-minded white folks don’t stand . . . in the dignified and proper manner our great white father up in Trump Tower demands, and that defiance enrages genuine, authentic “real” patriotic White Americans . . . it erupts and spills into the streets of that particular major US city, of course spreading to other cities across these so-called United States of America. And of course former Confederate General J. Beauregard Sessions, on the authority of the Grand Pooh-Bah himself, Lord Trump declares martial law across this a split nation - “shoot on site” all protesters/rioters/ . . . looters, They’ll deputize vigilante/militia groups . . . . the aftermath of Katrina will pale in comparison.

2018: The year of the Ballot or the Bullet . . . if Trump and his storm-troopers aren’t stopped at the mid-term, pull out your US Passport or a “get out of Trump’s jail” card handy, ready . .. at one’s fingertips.

This ill-legit President has just been snubbed and rejected by the 2017 Super Bowl champions . . . Now you know he’d like to have them whipped, 100 lashes, or maybe even lynched. Yes, thanks to most of white America (the slice of the pie which made all this possible) we’re one incident away from OPEN SEASON ON NIGGERS & WETBACKS.. . ..

Does black and brown America, if not all Americans of color, do we have a plan to combat an “coast-to- coast” genocidal attack? No, we don’t. Please, can we talk about the White elephant in the closet with us? Can we discuss the possibility/probability of a massive, violent white backlash? The issue is on the table, all those guns good ol boys n’ gals are buying-up, well there for black, brown and tan folks. Based on US History, a violent, blood soaked Trump driven white backlash has historical precedence.

Can you say Tulsa?! Rosewood?!

Or, is that genuine and legit fear, of white America going cra-cra bat-crap mad” an insulting projection to be placed upon Roseann Barr's rank n’ file Rednecks? Now we wouldn’t want to insult nor offend millions of conservatives by assuming Trump’s troops are the 21st century version of those white people across America back in the 20th century who’d “demand” your grandmother giver-up her seat to a 25 year old white man, but they are. Today’s white America is a racist, sexist and elitist product of their linage - these are the white folks you had to step-off the sidewalk for, had to not “look n the eye, . . . Trump’s backers are direct descendants of generations of white folks who wanted their asses kissed. Honestly Trump’s white America, they do want’ their cultural asses kissed like their forefathers had theirs kissed, that’s just the ice cold truth.

Understand this President rationalized and justified Japanese internment camps during World War II, it’s a given he’d be in favor of interning millions of Americans of color.

What if . . . ? What if emperor Trump has former President Obama imprisoned on “Trumped-up charges” yeah, you know what I’m talking about. Imprisons Michelle Obama . . .and her momma . . . don’t put it past these signifying SOBs. What if King Trump locks-up Hillary, Eric Holder, MSNBC host like Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid, Reverend Al Sharpton, Don Lemon or Wolf over at CNN . . .

Black America needs a strategy, a blueprint for survival in an hostile land . . . we can’t simply have our fate lay in the hands of White America, hoping for empathy, sympathy and pity. Hell mofoing no! That’s no plan, that’s suicide via submission. We’re obligated by our creator to defend ours and ourselves, we’ve a right for defend ourselves.

Thanks to Trump’s America, seriously, thanks to their paranoia, hatred, their collective/individual monolithic cultural rejection of any “real” acceptance of the Utopian idea of “we are the world” or “Kumbuya” this country and the whole wide world sits on the edge of disaster.
