Emboldened . . . I’d like to submit, be on the record, here, in the official court of Black opinion that I’ve, while yes “painting” with a broad brush I’m tainting most within “white America” of having become “emboldened” by Trump’s illegitimate, yet ever-more “real” reign of terror..

Here, let me to break-it-down for you; embolden, to give (someone) the courage or confidence to do something or to behave in a certain way.:synonyms: fortify, make brave/braver, encourage, hearten, strengthen, brace, stiffen the resolve of, lift the morale of, rouse, stir, stimulate, cheer, rally, fire, animate, inspirit, invigorate and buck-up.

Yep all those words and terms define what has happened to white America ever since Trump hustled his way to the Oval Office.

Let’s recall Ray-gun was the last President to “lift the morale” of White folks, to rally them by telling them what they desperately want to hear - that those Negroes and negro lovers were wrong - White folks, their empire and the Conan the Barbarian methods they employed to build it . . . was within the Marquess of Queensberry rules, fine n’ dandy with the great white father in the sky - waging genocide against the Native Americans, enslaving Blacks, exploiting Asians and Latinos and women was merely White men exercising their divine right and authority to . . . pimp the globe's population for the enrichment of one race, and then, even within White America, the privilege and prosperity is designed for wealthy men, the more moo-lah you have, the more “human” you are.

Trump has helped solidify the opposition to indisputable social and economical “progress” and a more civil and equal civilization.

Trump has “made-brave” the already brave: this newly embolden white America would rather isolate, insulate and align themselves with a “real” White man like Vladdy Putin who rides White stallions bareback while bare chested, hunts wild lions and tigers with his bare hands while butt naked, all that comical super white man/Great White hunter type uber-bullshit. Communist and Confederates have the same agenda - white global domination.

It ain’t complicated baby, it’s middle-school level dripple.

Trump’s encouraged the paranoid, emotionally insecure redneck rank n’ file who “dreaded” they’d lost, dig this - “their” America to the Obama Rainbow Revolution, but with Communist Russian intervention and alignment with Trump’s ”F-troop” of filthy rich misfits and oddballs they managed to to gain power and control, and it was achieved by any dubious and questionable, if not immoral and criminal means available to them.

You can feel the renewed fire of hatred and malice much of White America holds for . . . everybody who ain't white and to the uber-right

It seems when I chew-the-fat with other folks of color, primarily Afro-Americans but including Latinos, Asians and “foreigners” there is a general agreement we can’t deny the hatred, the paternal contempt and animosity we see percolating-out by so-many White folks. It feels like, not all, but yes most of White America, be they urban or suburban, Methodist, Mormons, Protestant or Catholic, rich or poor, male or female, blond-haired, red-haired or bow-legged, regardless of just about any characteristic . . . they don’t “like” black, brown, tan , red nor yellow people; history illustrates just that. While clearly current times demonstrate it. White America wants to return to 1947 and a separate and unequal America.

Seriously, today, tonight, tomorrow, go ask, approach a White co-worker or friend, ask them if they don’t have family members who believe this integration/diversity and equality bullshit has gone far too-far and they yearn to return to yesteryear and the stark white era of the good old days when we all knew and accepted our place. I’m not playing, talk to white folks, they’ll tell you.

I pitch my tent in Denver Colorado, arguably the capital of the Northern Confederacy, while I’m a ebony explorer, an skier and a hiker who finds myself in the mountain towns of Colorado - Glenwood Springs, Estes Park, Breckenridge, Vail and Colorado Springs, and I can say with both certainty and clarity I’ve never really had a 1955 moment where White folks went beyond the basic stare or glare, folks are generally friendly and hospitable. However last weekend at the Winter Park Jazz Festival in Fraser Colorado, I’d argue the rednecks had their panties all in a bunch, it appeared they felt inundated with Black n brown jazz lovers. The Festival has expanded over the last 20 years with the growth in the metropolitan Denver area, and I think there were “just too many “ of us up there.

We were beyond being a novelty and beyond their toleration point - we were an irritant to some. Obviously out of our “urban” place. It seemed other Caucasian travelers and tourist in the resort town to enjoy the mountain surroundings and activities were a little taken back by so many Americans of color hanging out in their mountain getaway.

Just a gut feeling I got, based on my a half century as a Black man living in a White man’s empire.

On more than one lone occasion White workers, i.e. “locals” seemed unfriendly, non-accommodating and unwelcoming in a few different situations - at the Golf tournament, at a bowling alley gathering, gourmet candy store, and at a couple of eating establishments. Of course being “uppity” Negroes who don’t know our place, we’re firing-off letters to the local paper, chamber of commerce, the Winter Park resort and the city of Denver, because White folks can’t be allowed to accept your green money but disrespect your black ass.

Sorry, we ain’t going back to 1940 without a fight, without kicking and screaming the whole way back. And, as Trump and his storm troopers aren't going quietly into the dark night, what we got here is an failure to communicate . . . resulting in a dead-end, a standoff, perhaps a fatal national impasse.

But this was just another case, another venue, another happening where it seemed you just don’t “feel the love,” Be it in the grocery Store, at Target, at Home Depot, driving down the street, just in daily life and social interactions one can “feel, taste, smell and see” the hate which is fueling Trump’s white backlash.

It’s real and it has a face - it’s your neighbors and co-workers, the lady in the car over there and that guy walking down the street over there, we are immersed in a land where most, not all, but yes most white people aren't quite sure you’re fully as human as they are. Unsure you are deserving of 1st class US citizenship and rights . . . in “their” country.
