The
President is a liar, his actions are contemptible, & I'm going to
fight everyday until he's impeached. Nothing in the past two weeks
has changed anything about what we've learned about Manafort, C.
Page, & the rest of Trump's #KremilnKlan . . . .
Turn
on the water . . . Maxine Waters, “Auntie Maxine” . .
. speaking the sharp, blunt truth to ruthless, cutthroat power. I
love it . . . I love it, I love it! Go ‘head with ya’
bad self . . . straight-outta South-Central LA. I’m sorry but
I’m not surprised the harshest Congressional voice is
Congresswoman Waters. Maxine was there for the Rodney King riots,
she’s carried the banner for decades now. We as a people, as
Black folks, we owe her for confronting half-mad White men on the
political battlefield.
Thank
you Congresswoman Waters, thank you for having iron britches,
for believing in your convictions, and courageously willing to be
convicted for holding them, which in this day n’ age means they
want to “lock you up.” I wonder if for a uppity Black
woman like Maxine they may chant “string her up!” Don't
tell me that’s not possible, please!
“Trump
Has No Business Being President And I’ll Fight Every Day Until
He’s Impeached”
Overt,
unconcealed oppression breeds shameless outspoken opposition which
manifest itself in the form of a strong Black woman born in St Louis,
raised Los Angeles she has a mind and she’s going to speak it.
“We
have to stop his ass,"
Maxine
Waters is Black Power, good ol’ 1968 Black Power.
Congresswoman
Waters’ embodies, articulates and amplifies the gut feelings of
Black America. From intellectuals to laborers, fromhouse negroes to
niggers in da’ field, male, female. Baptist, Catholic and
Muslims, North n’ South, inner-city to outer-’burbs . . .
she’s saying what millions upon millions . . . upon millions of
Black. Afro/Americans believe; Donald Trump is as crooked and
corrupted as we all knew him to be before he became president.
She’s
got the stones, the rocks the boulders inside her to, like
Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm . . . to tell it like it
really is. Go head with ya’ bad-ass self Soul Sister #1,
walk it like ya’ talk it.
“Trump
is no longer just a bully. He is now very dangerous and still has no
business being President of the United States.”
Recall
Maxine was all-over Obama, criticizing his compromising n’
accommodating moderate negro approach, and now today she’s all
over The Don . . . pointing-out what we all know, he’s a
hustler baby, a wangster/dankster/prankster . . . New York City
Gangster who’s hustled his way to the top, but he’s got
to be stopped or our children will grow up in an America which will
be more akin to 1940 than the 21st century.
“Say
it loud, I’m Black and I’m proud,” and very
proud to have Maxine Waters articulate and defend my best interests.
Waters
went after the Tea Party many moons ago telling a group of her
constituents “I am not afraid of anybody. This is a tough
game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be
frightened. And as far as I’m concerned, the Tea Party can go
straight to hell.”
Years
ago when articulating the concerns of folks during the LA Riots “I
have a right to my anger, and I don’t want anybody telling me I
shouldn’t be, that it’s not nice to be, and that
something’s wrong with me because I get angry.”
Back
in 1993 interview with the Los Angeles Times: “Policy, for
the most part, has been made by white people in America, not by
people of color. And they have tended to take care of those things
that they think are important. Whether it’s their
agricultural subsidies, or other kinds of expenditures that are
certainly not expenditures for poor people or for people of color.
And so we have to band together and keep fighting back.”
Waters’
comments on President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney: “The
President is a liar. Dick Cheney, the chief architect of the Big
Lie, is not only a liar, he is a thief.”
Waters
also went after the opposition in the debt-ceiling debate: “We
were basically held up in raising the debt ceiling until they got all
of those budget cuts they demanded. We didn’t raise any
revenue, and they didn’t close any tax loopholes. I believe
the Democratic Party and the President of the United States should
not have backed down. We should have made them walk the plank.”
Maxine’s
relentless, tireless, unafraid offensive assault is the White man’s
worst nightmare. Here we are years later and Maxine can't be put in
her place.
"I
don't respect this president. I don't trust this president. He's not
working in the best interests of the American people,"
Between
Maxine Waters, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. . . we’ve
got the “right stuff” to fight these confederated-minded
neanderthals back into their conservative closets where they belong,
outdated and so yesterday, so 1951.
"When
we fight against this president, and we point out how dangerous he is
for this society and for this country, we’re fighting for the
democracy," Waters said. "We’re fighting for America.
We’re saying to those who say they’re patriotic but
they’ve turned a blind eye to the destruction that he’s
about to cause this country, ‘You’re not nearly as
patriotic as we are.'"
I
leave you with this drop of Water . . I'm a strong black woman,
and I cannot be intimidated.”I am a strong black woman, and I
cannot be intimidated. I cannot be undermined.” “I cannot
be thought to be afraid of Bill O’Reilly or anybody,” she
added. “And I’d like to say to women out there
everywhere: Don’t allow these right-wing talking heads, these
dishonorable people, to intimidate you or scare you. Be who you are.
Do what you do. And let us get on with discussing the real issues of
this country.
