I’m asking all Americans of color, be you Black, Brown, Red or Yellow, along with American Muslims of all colors and even independent minded, enlightened White women to go out and buy a US flag, “Ol Glory” and hang it/post-it upside-down on their porch, car, Rv, boat, use the symbol as your avatar, wherever . . . but make sure it’s upside-down because this brandishing of the flag is a universally recognized sign of “distress.” And you can bet-your-ass, and mine these once alleged-to-be “United” States of America are in an incontrovertible, clear state-of distress.

Lord Trump has recklessly and erroneously claimed the upcoming election to be “rigged” in a vast array of manners, methods and ways - plagued by “large-scale voter fraud,” journalistic deceit, financial elitism and political shenanigans - he’s skillfully laying the foundation for angry White people to stage a coup d'etat He has said he will use the vast-powers of the Oval Office to have Hillary Clinton put behind bars. Yes, “jailed.” And of course he wants to “stop n’ frisk” “the Blacks,” build walls to keep-out Brown people. Daily he verbally pours flammable jet-fuel on the smoldering, but yet highly combustible fires of racial and cultural division . . . while instructing his supporters to act as storm troopers and go “watch” the polling booths in “other” communities, an undistributable reference to racial minorities. He has lashed out at disloyal former allies like GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan. And he has alleged that he’s the victim of multiple conspiracies involving .. . everybody, from gold-digging political tramps to the FBI, the liberal US media, and of course the “international banks” who’re diabolically planning/plotting the “destruction of U.S. sovereignty.”

As “colored” Americans, the direct descendants of those who've been “pimped and exploited” in what I think can justifiably be regarded as an genocidal quest to create a place where the White man’s land, liberties and freedoms were unlimited - we’ve as much, if not more legitimacy as any so-called “real” White America to openly proclaim this nation to be in a “state of desolation, despair . . . alas distress.”

Why?

For we, as Americans of color legitimately fear-for our overall well being and lives, and perhaps most importantly the circumstances and conditions that of our children shall reside in as this nation struggles to live up-to its creed; “all men are created equal . . . . “ We fear how openly “hostile” White America might become, We fear-for the loss of property; Japanese-Americans were stripped of all their property and financial assets after Pearl Harbor and they were shipped-off to internment camps. Trump’s contemporary version of the same - the diabolical “liquidation” of Mexican and Muslims property would create a real-estate windfall for those best positioned in US society to economically exploit their pain and misery - Trump’s “Leisure” class. I’d venture-to-say this seizure of resources is a prime motivating factor, coupled-with widespread culturally entrenched racism and xenophobia, not simply a timely coincidence.

SOS - save our souls . . . .

If anyone has paid their dues to gain entrance into this all-American country club . . . it is we, the descendants of African slaves, Native Americans, Mexican-Americans and Asian-Americans. We are refused “gold-card” privileges, such-as “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” despite the historical reality our forebears drastically “overpaid” by providing both the “free” land and “cheap” labor used to construct this blood-soaked empire.

There’s a justifiable fear as-to what deplorable depths the angry WASP population will drag this nation down into. What is America, the land of the free, home of the brave going to transform/regress into? That question is relevant and pressing simply because going forward from right here n’ now . . . we all understand we are a divided house - our civic institutions and political organizations are apparently “fractured,” split between Neo Confederates and Conservatives on the Right, moderates in the middle with Liberals and Progressives on the Left.

As far as the millions of dimwitted, small, simple-minded minions who’ve got Trump’s back, this orangeman is the last, finale “Great White Hope” who can save them from “racial diversity,” inclusion, oh my God, a color-blind society . .. who can “make America White again.”

You know minions seems to be a very “fitting” word, but within the context of the term, we know that means Trump has henchmen, flunkies, lackeys, followers, servants, stooges who think somewhat like he does lodged within all facets of American life - as educators, cops, business people, the health and medical fields, the military and throughout the government . .. . I work in a high school where some of the faculty and staff is voting for Trump. That’s akin to Germans voting for Hitler . . . yet left-to teach, preach-to and enlighten Jews. It makes no sense.

Tell me, how can Americans of color, from this election going forward, ever honestly “trust” the everyday, run- of-the-mill, rank n’ file White person understanding how they see the world? How can we ignore this lone fact; If only White men voted ... Trump would be emperor, hands down.

I’d suggest we never could “trust” the vast-majority of WASP folk - US History and common sense prohibited it, but their long stated company-line which claimed White racism and discrimination was virtually non-existent, merely a figment of inferior folks little feeble colored imaginations, and tragically many of us believed them. However, now that we realize roughly 75% of White males and 50% of White women are unarguably, on paper classified as racist, sexist, elitist xenophobes . . . how can Black n; Brown folks ever trust White folks to do right?

What a distressful predicament we Black folks find ourselves in, no? Turn that flag upside-down!
