Does Black America
Understand We've Declared
War On the Confederacy?

"Black folks have 'declared war' on millions and
millions of proud Rednecks . . . and their Conservative
sympathizers, yet we’ve no way, no means to fight
this war other than to appeal to 'good' White folks to
help us/save us from 'bad' White folks."

There’re consequences and repercussions for just about everything . . . .

With that notion in mind, as I ran-across the news and discovered the Atlanta branch of the NAACP wants all the Confederate paraphernalia removed from the “infamous” Georgia Stone Mountain state park . . . the branch’s chair, Richard Rose said his group not only wants Confederate symbols removed from all state-owned buildings, parks and lands . . . he’d start with the enormous monument itself of Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson.

Well go-head with ya’ bad-ass self bra’.

"Those guys need to go. They can be sand-blasted off, or somebody could carefully remove a slab of that and auction it off to the highest bidder," Rose said.

When I read this I realized these Negroes had lost their minds. Their entire minds.

Of-Course this demand, to erase Stone Mountain is akin to, in the small minds of many Southerners to what demolishing Mount Rushmore would be in the eye’s of millions of Americans who proclaimed themselves to be “Patriots.” Removing the treasonous trio of Dixie royalty from the face of the mountain is similar, whether you like it or not - to insulting the Sioux nation by blowing up the gigantic Crazy Horse monument in South Dakota.

It’s forced but completely justifiable removable would be considered an insult and slap in the face, a crossing of the line.

If the Black American civil rights “establishment” is successful in having the monument taken down . . . do they, do we, as a branded people living in a hostile land, merely 12% of the total US population . . .do we understand, do we fully grasp, in all-reality that well-earned and deserved action . . . is an aggressive chessboard move?

Do we understand this is chess, this is Star Trek’s Dr’ Sock’s tri level chess . . not Chinese checkers, not hop-scotch, not a video game. They call it a “culture war” and that’s what it is. The “destiny,” the “fate” of an empire is at stake, not just the middle school satisfaction of pissing-off White folks.

The Redneck revolution will not be televised nor texted, meaning most Black folks won’t know about.

Couple this long overdue assault on the stars n’ bars with the widespread belief held by mainstream White America; this Black President has a black heart and doesn’t love this country. He’s waging a war against “real” Americans while kissing the asses of our foreign enemies. So logically, in the minds-of people on the “Right, these actions - and toss-in a list-of other perceived assaults on “American Exceptionalism,” i.e., White superiority and privilege, appear-to be, in their summation . . . a declaration-of-war.

Black folks have “declared war” on millions and millions of proud Rednecks . . . and their Conservative sympathizers, yet we’ve no way, no means to fight this war other than to appeal to “good” White folks” to help us/save us from “bad” White folks.

Hey guys; the anti-Black “bad” White folks well-outnumber the “good” ones.

Only a small percentage, a elf’s handful of White America is empathetic or sympathetic to the plight of Black Americans. Are we aware of this? Seriously? Do we get the numbers? Do we have an understanding of whom we’re dealing with? Trump and the gang speak for what, 30, 40 million WASP Americans who see this war in terms of color, class and culture, and they’ve grown tired of compromising with Black America.

Last hired, first fired, that’s a god-damn guarantee, and proportionately we don’t own nothin’.

Hell, Trump’s troops want to go door-to-door dragging latino children n’ old folks out to Greyhound buses headed South beyond the electrified 40 foot high wall . . . Am I exaggerating, maybe, but lying, no.

Are we, as a people prepared to fight a war against Rednecks? And I don’t mean a bloodless war. I don’t mean a court battle or a war in the court of public opinion . . . I mean a White Backlash we know is possible based on prior events. Who will fight with us, or for us? Will the LAPD and the NYPD be on the side of impartiality or the side of their father/brother/son/daughter?

Do we think about or talk about the real-world ramifications, the societal effect and impact of our “make-it-up-as-we-go” agenda?

I know, I know, I know, I’m so-serious and over-the-top. I submit if you find me pessimistic and negative, it simply reflects our ignorance of US history and our naivety concerning “how far” most of White America will go-to save “their” empire from the “uppity,” out-of-control “help.”

Hell Black folks can’t even protect our churches from white-sheet cladded arsonists.

You can’t just “talk-the-talk, you gotta’ walk-the-walk-baby.”

I’d submit, in our logical zeal to “stick-it-to-the-angry White man,” we, as Black folks aren’t ready to defend ourselves when they lash back. Gee, when they burn our churches we call the White policeman to protect us . . . from his brother-in-law.

Instead of simply provoking the barbarian, by tearing-down his historical racist war banners . . . I’d suggest we too focus on halting our mass-production of fatherless babies, our cultural abandonment of an formal K-12 education and our inability to control our young men, to slow the self-destruction we display to the world.

We’ve a multi-front war on our hands folks, “internal and external.”

Chi-raq is real. And the same bloodthirsty cutthroat mentality is prevalent in every large city where Blacks dwell. Don’t we, as Black folk “get” that internal genocide does not speak highly of us, as a people? And it clearly denotes this; individually ain’t nobody at the head-of-the-house. Collectively ain’t nobody steering this ship - we’re an adrift nation-within-a-nation.

The Black on Black murder-rate cannot be explained away by Black intellectuals on MSNBC or by Negro Lovers on CNN. 15 year-old mothers, 30 year-old grand-mothers and 45 year old great grandma's’ cannot be blamed on White folks in Mississippi and Idaho, Sorry. I can’t blame every White teacher for why little Jamal can’t read, write nor even tell time on a traditional clock. At some point, at some point Black folks have got to mind our own business.

Our Wal-Mart bought satin-slip is showing. Honestly it’s dragging on the floor like a $75,000.00 wedding-dress train. Despite the Confederate Flag coming down, Black boys are still slaughtering Black people. And if they blow-up Stone Mountain, turn it into Pebble Hill, cities like Atlanta, the Big Easy, KC, Philly and Oak-town will remain bloodbaths.

Forgive me for telling the truth, but there’re more Bloods, Crips and War-Lords killing Black men than they’re are Klansmen, Confederate soldiers or LA police officers murdering Black folks. We’re tackling the obvious ills n’ woes, what about the harm we do to ourselves. “The White devil made me do it defense” don’t always do it.

I’m just saying the truth, sorry it hurts.

If we only had the same Zulu zeal, enthusiasm and intensity when it comes-to confronting deadbeat-dads, high school dropouts, teen mothers, gangsters, pimps and drug dealers . . . as we do fightin’ Johnny Reb’.
